Hello again. My story actually begins on the 19th of June, 1998.....I was having a little trouble walking, maybe I was just overtired. The next day was no better and in the evening my head started to tilt to one side and I could not walk in a straight line. My parents took me to Urgent Care where a doctor looked me over and told them it was probably just an inner ear infection. My dad thought it was more than an inner ear problem and asked the doctor if there were any signs of infection. The doctor told him there wasn't. They took me out into the hall to watch me walk. A lady doctor happened to be in the hall and after seeing me try to walk agreed with my dad. She took over and arranged an immediate x-ray at one of the local hospitals.
They did a CT scan at the hospital and it showed that I had what they called a cystic lesion. I don't know what a cystic lesion is, maybe it's a doctor name for tumor, because that's what it turned out to be. They took me by Ambulance to "Minneapolis Childrens Hospital".
I will continue my story on the next page. First, I want to say that I mentioned the ear infection not to criticize the doctor but to point out that my dad knows me best (I love you too mom).
